But Why?

First: the Bio-Data:

Shom Biswas has an MBA from MDI Gurgaon and a degree in Engineering from RVCE Bangalore. He is a Marketing Manager with a multi-national in Bangalore, and has previously worked as a salesman and a business consultant in India and the US. He is a collector of rare, first-edition sports books; and is consistently one of the best EPL fantasy football managers in the world.

Unfortunately, I cannot think much beyond sports. I have played some sport or the other for as long as I can remember, and watch / read sports and sports based literature / TV for at least a quarter of the waking day. This blog is a resultant of all that.
I still own old Sportstars and Sportsworlds, and having stayed in Bengal and being able to read and write the language, own a few ‘Khela’-s as well. I also own more than a hundred sports books, and some really rare, first edition, signed copies.

Edit:  Also, I’m Baganboy – FPL enfant-terrible, and top-150 Hall of Famer in Fantasy Premier League annals.

Baganboy. The Original.

  1. Hi,
This is Priyank from Funatic Sports. Let me give you a brief about what we do in case you have not heard about us

We are 5 sport fans who make t-shirts and merchandises for sports fans in India and sell online (www.funatic.in) at very reasonable rates. The main reason of doing this was seeing the lack of merchandise options for true sports fans in India and the ones that were available, were very expensive.
I came across your blogs and liked them. I was wondering if your could write a blog about what we do ?

Looking forward to hear from you.
